Woven wire from Sumba, also known as Lulu Amuhu,is a traditional craft that uses wire weaving techniques. this technique has been passed down from generation to generation and became known in the early 20th century. This wire mesh, mainly grows in East Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara, and is often made into jewellery and other decorative products, such as bowls, bags, sculptures and utensils.
Some craftsmen try to transform this traditional technique into a more contemporary product so that is more easily accepted by the general public.
